All the best to you. A few years ago one of my daughters expressed she was confused by her own attraction to both boys and girls (she was a teenager).
Her Mum (my Wife at the time), really struggled with this, due to her religious beliefs. I simply shared with my Daughter the stanza from the Alice in Chains song - No Excuses:

She still reminds me of that talk & her Mum eventually came around.
