Hah, before the year, I though this would be awesome. A primetime TPS-derby featuring Rantanen, Georgiev, Lehkonen and Kakko. Well, 3/4 players have been traded since...

The Avs have played very poorly lately, they did play yesterday as well. But the better goalie is in net today.

Avalanche have a formidable looking team when all are healthy...not sure on why everyone gung ho on Dallas ? Goalies ?
Both can be true. but it is hard to be gung ho about any one team this year. across the board, so far, no one is hands above the rest. could change before end of year/post deadline.

Now realizing why Avs wanted Drury. Their team FO% leaves a lot to be desired, Drury has been solid in that area with Canes. While also filling a Center need. Avs have many injured, we should be able to take "AVantage" of them. (yes, I know spelled incorrectly on purpose)

Great, we get Necas' MSG debut with Colorado. He was point-less and -3 yesterday in Boston. Think it'll take him time to adjust with a new team.

Well before the trade they had three players that would be the best player on some teams. Nate and Makars speed is elite. Id start there. We may play against both traded players.

I really like the trade yesterday by the Avs, because Necas and Drury have some upside and are good players to build around MacKinnon. Having said that they are a beatable team today as long as we dont come out flat.

The Avs put Necas next to MacKinnon last night, and it didn't really work. Necas needs to be on a separate line probably, but until Nichushkin is back, that would just be too thin I think.

wow the avs have literally zero depth
Looks a lot like what happened to Chicago when they started having to trim their rosters to stay cap compliant.

Trying to win with a bunch of Greg McKegg/Steve Kampfer quality players occupying your 3rd pairing and bottom 6 doesn't sound like a good time.
