Neighbors-Thomas-Buch line is still off. One thing I noticed they are having issues gaining the offensive zone blue line having to dump in. To compound this no one has the motor or forecheck going to win puck battles. If they can get possession they can get pressure but they are struggling hard.

Crappy first overall lucky to be only down one.

I started on the wrong VGK thread, as it was on top of today's non-sticky threads. Apparently a few other posters were doing that, too. Not a great 1st Period by The Blues giving up a very early goal, and then giving up another right after getting comfortable just after getting to full strength after killing off a penalty. Being outshot 14-4 in the 1st Period of a home game is nothing to be proud of. Let's hope they can play a lot better the rest of the game.
