I missed the Sharks game because I was babysitting a friend of my mom's grandkids (snow day sort of, school buses don't run when the temps are pushing -50) and beating them 6-3 didn't do much to convince me because well, the Sharks suck.

I thought "well maybe they'll give Jersey a game" and uh, they really did not.

Sway was good but there's only so much you can do when the guys in front of you take 7 penalties from mostly being lazy. 3 power play goals is unacceptable. Both teams started lethargic, but then the Devils remembered Jacques Lemaire was in the building and started to skate. Boston decided to sleep.

Goalie isn't going to bail you out every night when you get outshot by 10 or more most games.

They screwed up when they didn’t have a replacement foremen Krejci went home. Then theydidnt have another replacement waiting for when Bergeron retired. They were both older centers and they ever had anyone ready to go. That is their downfall. Plus they’re pro scouting has failed them.
