I know it has been said but what a good deal with Danton Heinen.
I always thought he was a good player but for the $$$ what a steal.
I wasn't in favor of bringing him back. This was before Milan's domestic abuse incident. I wanted a new crew, preferably heavier and meaner.
Needless to say, that's not Danton's game.
But up to this point he's proven me wrong, and has been a versatile, solid addition to the Bruins. Particularly, as you note, for a modest sum.
What I want to see is how Heinen fares when it matters most, in the playoffs.
