Askarov is sick and apparently lost too much weight because of the illnessIs there a reason your stud goalie is not starting three straight games? And you're shitty goalie is starting. What's the point of having Askarov up if he won't play?
Vanaceck is injured, so we need a second goalie. But I agree that askarov is better. Probably a mix of factors like: 1) the plan was to only bring up askarov next year and they are sticking to it; 2) trying to pump 4gies deadline value; 3) resting rookie; 4) IDK, tanking? I hope notIs there a reason your stud goalie is not starting three straight games? And you're shitty goalie is starting. What's the point of having Askarov up if he won't play?

Hopefully this is the answer. Sucks that he is sick, but good to know he's not riding the pine after his solid performances in December and early January.Askarov is sick and apparently lost too much weight because of the illness
I'll have what he's having ^^^^^^

Hopefully Asky's first off!
Oh don’t worry about that, Askarov has exceeded expectations honestly and the coaching staff and players all know how good he is. I predict when Vanacek gets healthy (probably just before the 4 Nations) that Askarov will get sent down to the AHL but at the trade deadline a move will be made and Askarov will get the majority of the starts till the end of the season. Next season Askarov gets 40-50 starts as our #1/1AHopefully this is the answer. He shouldn't have had the hot ham water.
