So many wackos baching the team right lol.It only a loss it okay suck it happens it more what they do next and how they do next. If you think this team suck that badly or you prefer habs team why were you watching them today hhh cause they just lost 2 point and still in good position to make playoffs. Also If you think habs are better just keep watching them only and we see you when Sens play them to see if they really that much superior 😂

He's definitely the best pure shooter, but he also doesn't drive the play and struggles greatly on aggressive opposition as he doesn't have the quick ability to react to that. That deficiency makes his contract bad. If he was paid 2m less I'd be okay with it.
Agreed with most of what you say, but he is also great on face-off and good defensively. A little overpaid yes with the way he's played this year, but he did miss a lot of time with his injury. If he improves a little bit, he could be worth his salary soon ... specially with the cap going up.

Bro they got shutout 5 times in 11 games

Some people have been bitching about Norris, but he is imo our best pure shooter. We have a few other guys with good shots, but they won't use it lately for whatever reason (looking at you Stu).
Norris has trouble beating goalies when theyre baring down on each other na she’s not sniping from anywhere. Nor is he really capable of creating anything for himself.

Lol, wouldn't call them wackos but fans being emotional when we are in the first playoff hunt in years is understandable. I really didn't like their start the last few games, but things could have been much different. We did get shutout too many times lately, but we had 4 posts and a goal that was waive because of idiot Furlatt tonight. If people want to go watch the Habs (f#& the Habs & Leafs), it's their choice, I will stick to the Sens as I did since the first day win or lose, but it would be nice to see them in the PO race until the end. For me it's been a fun ride so far this year, still right there to fight for that PO spot. Go Sens Go !

One point out of the playoffs with a game in hand when our two most valuable players are 22 years old?

BLOW IT UP

The "one point out of the playoffs after 48 games" banner will look really nice next to Melnyk's.

We're not that young a team. We've had chances to separate ourselves from the pack. We've failed at every opportunity.

Blow it up? No. But it's reasonable to be frustrated with the last two games, especially considering how the "top" players are performing in the offensive end. This was the year Tkachuk, Stutzle, Sanderson, etc were supposed to rise to the occasion. They really haven't. We're lucky Leevi came in when he did, otherwise it probably would be full blown panic.

I agree 100% with this. If people lack the emotional stability to watch a team in a tight race, they can always just switch to cheering for the 1st place team in the league.

He is not "great" on the face-off, he is great at getting tossed from face-offs.

Why would Green also be fired? You can take the hit offensively 5v5 if you're defense is good, which it at least has improved massively this season. On PP you're not worried about defence at all, how does that compare?

Yea no shit? The league worst road PP is also 4-30 in that span

The point is the offense has dried up entirely and the head coach is just as responsible for that as the special team guys.

Don't worry guys, they're going to play well for 2 weeks to get our hopes high again until they go back in their shells.

Blow this team up. I honestly don't have faith in anyone in this core. Until this team is completely torn apart and rebuilt I will not have faith in it's ability to win a cup. Dorion wasting 3 top 1st rounders (with another to be surrendered) on Duchene/Chychrun/DeBrincat just isn't recoverable. It f***ed us.

You're forgetting about Tyler Boucher... so that's basically 5 rounders wasted during a rebuild lmao. It's unprecedented for sure

Good thing we have a stacked prospect pipeline filled with skilled young players, or else I'd be a little worried right now

How can a GM be dumb enough to bungle a rebuild this way? I mean, we have seen this coming from miles and miles and yet we got flamed for being "negative"

Yep ! If we asked people at the start of the year what the goal was, for most it would have been to be exactly where we are right now. If they want to cheer for whoever else, they are not real Sens fans to start with. Real fans cheer for their team through ups and downs. Yes we had a lot of down years with the Euge and PD in charge, but our core is still very young and skilled and I think our GM did a good job filling holes last summer with the cap he had to play with (maybe with the exception of Perron for me) and to me we finally have a real owner who cares and put his money where is mouth is for this fanbase. Things are looking up !

That’s really good, just one point out of a playoff spot! 8 years and no playoffs, what else do you greedy f***s want?!? A team that’s at least 16th beat in the league or something?

How exactly are we supposed to be confident in this team down the stretch when Batherson and Brady have legitimately been producing like 4th liners for half the season? This isn’t even an exaggeration. They’ve been so f***ing bad offensively.
