I think we still need a superstar, one more swing in the early half won't be so bad.If we lose tonight, that's the season.
We could have the chance if we go on another 7 game winning run. I don't see it if they don't fix 5 on 5. PP can't carry them again.
I have to say there are 3-5 decisions Mclellan and Yzerman have made which I don't like at all, and therefore am I very sceptical.

”fix” doesn’t have to mean ”make them play like the 2002 Wings”. We have seen some minor improvement, but our 5v5 xGF% is still bottom of the league. It should absolutely be possible to get a bit more out of them than that.I keep hearing people talk about “fixing” 5 on 5. How? We effectively have 1 top 9 center on this team. We have like 3.5 top 9 wingers in our best games. There is so much talentless bloat up front that heads should be rolling in the pro scouting department. Copp, Compher, Rasmussen, Veleno, and Tank create zero offense on their own and Tank is the only one who can occasionally finish. Kasper is still a work in progress. There is no internal fix to be had.
If they lose this game, I think that's the season. I have a bad feeling already, but I have a bad feeling every game
I just think we're gonna get out worked and out skated, and the bounces won't go out way again
So why did Yzerman sign him this offseason then if you ain't gonna use him?Keep hearing how Watson gives his all and is a great energy guy on the ice and in the room. It's like hmm the Wings could use that.
