If Chicago wins without Toews, Kane, Hossa, Crawford, Keith, Seabrook and Hjalmarsson, might as well just hand them the Cup. Sutter will know the score of that game when they take the ice, I assure you.

Who are the Hawks replacing those players with? I mean we're talking about 7 players. Did they call up a bunch of AHLers?

I'm sure they would rather face STL vs Van. Players will say they don't care but they know they have had the Blues number for the last 2 years. Unless they think that might really get them up and would want to avoid them.

Also, if we win our first round series as the 4 or 5 seed, we will most likely avoid Chicago in the next round.

Apparently we're getting Hahn and Remenda. :/ I don't mind NBC using their regional sports net feeds but don't use announcers from one of the teams playing!

It seems to be our lot in life.

You think Bob and Jim actually turn these national broadcasts down?

With St. Louis inevitably winning, there is no way the Kings can play the Sharks. It's St. Louis or Vancouver. W, OTW or SOW = St. Louis. L, OTL or SOL, Vancouver.

Will be interesting to see if the sharks want to win. St. Louis isn't a good matchup for the sharks. They would probably want Vancouver.

NBC as part of their national NHL contract can choose to broadcast up to 7 (I believe it's 7) of a particular team's games nationally as well as exclusively in the team's home market. This is their 7th LA game that they can get exclusive in-market rights for.

I hope they win for the sake of anyone who will be going to the home playoff games. Vancouver fans suck, would rather you guys not have to deal with them.

I know I have said it to others just not sure if here. This is the one thing I hate about being the Stanley Cup champs. So many national games. But would gladly live through it again for a repeat.

There's a good chance if the Kings advance through round 1 they would face the other team. Could easily be Vancouver in round 1 and St. Louis in round 2 again.

That would be unlikely unless you are expecting either Anaheim or Chicago to get upset.
And that only works if we get 5th seed or both would have to be upset.

Win this game. Play the Blues.

Detroit will beat the Ducks.

It's kind of funny because a week ago this game was anticipated because it was the Kings and Sharks who were going to duke it out for home ice when they played eachother in the first round. Now, not only are they not playing eachother, but neither team will get home ice.
