There's plenty of reasons why they could be flat or tired. I'm sorry if you expect this young team to be perfect 24/7.

And despite a bad period, there werent many high quality chances and Monty laid an egg

Red Wings on pace for like 50 shots. The PP chance for sure was a high danger chance. We let Raymond walk into the slot. He had just almost scored in that situation. Raymond made a great play to fake shot and find the shooter.

On the first goal if you keep giving players looks in the slot eventually they will score.
