I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say this could be a season defining game for the wings.

They have been desperately trying to escape this rebuild pattern for at least a couple years. If they lose today, they will fall 7 points behind Montreal which is the team that is currently right around the playoff bar. That would be a massive blow whereas a win gets them back in the hunt.

You have to expect the wings to give a maximum effort. If they dont give that, then there's a major underlying problem in that organization.

Habs better be ready.

Seems like every game is a 7th game in the PO. For the Habs and the Wings. We are granted, this is good hockey level and energy.

I remember fans laughing at me this offseason when I said the Habs are in the Wings, Sabres, and Sens mix and we will catch them fast. Where are they at now? Where you at nit pickers? lol. Even some in our own herd thought we were a bottom 5 team last year. NOPE! We accepted tank and traded Monahan. Played more youth. We were 8th or 9th last when we traded Monahan and we didn't have Dach. The Habs were in many games last year and I believe we had one of the most 1 goal games.

Screw Yzerman and his genius rebuilding! Wings are in no mans land for a while now

I do agree the Wings are coming at us hard. Habs are very aware of it.

East is one of the tightest we have seen in a very long time. It's going to be a race right down to the wire.

I wish that Hutson's will extend his assist streak to 10 games as NHL defenseman rookie tonight.

As we all know, Hutson's assist streak is presently at 9 games as NHL defenseman rookie.

As we all know, Hutson tied Gotisbehere's assist streak with 9 games as NHL defenseman rookie.

Plus, while it wasn't the sole reason, the late December 4 game losing streak which lead to Lalonde being fired started with back to back losses to the Habs. They'll be motivated to show they're a different team.

Discipline is key tonight. Their good sequence was mainly because of their pp.
Discipline isn't key for tonight only. Discipline is key for all our games.

Our PK players are getting tired for nothing on multiple PK. Games after games. Because of useless faults.

Our players gotta be more disciplined. Our players gotta stop with their useless faults.

We're the NHL team that got the penalty minutes of the league if I'm correct.

You are correct my friend.

I can't believe Pezz is back in, I just can't. The guy is not a NHLer. He can't follow the pace.

This is so freaking stupid.
It’s not like he’s taking a top 6 spot. The guy plays a few minutes, throws a bunch of hits, takes a penalty. Big deal. It’s not like they’ve been doing terribly with or without him. People make waaaaay too much out of this.

I see they are playing in the US I suppose we’ll have to wait for Saturday’s game to hear the reaction to the anthem. Do me proud whoever attends.
