And the Minnesota game. Another blown 2 goal lead in the 3rd. But it’s good that we are playing with some good teams on the road I suppose. Some key guys still look off right now.

I was livid when that TDL passed and he was still a Blue. And then the extension is filed in my WTF folder.

This definitely has the prospect of being the one major causality of the “retool not rebuild” era…committing big money to a really solid, but certainly not elite player that was going to be pay him a lot of money long past his prime.
 
I think many will enjoy Buchnevich when Snuggerud is on the other wing or Dvorsky at center and we let the young ones do whatever they want while ole Buch handles the responsibility and occasional headbutt. He’s gonna show his value as all these new little dudes show up.

Honestly I felt the same way but I am really starting to worried. I feel like starting the year at center f***ed with his head but he has been back at wing for awhile now and he's just not been impactful. He picked up another assist tonight but ask yourself was their any point tonight where you found yourself impressed by a shift of his. He is just kind of there, not really engaged but just there.

For sure, Atleast the cap looks to continue to explode, I saw something the other day that it might be at 97 mill next year..... With thomas and kyrou making 8 as well... It could atleast help balance buch's overpayment, He could provide alot of long term value as a veteran to the kids throughout our middle 6 in the steen era, but if his contract were 6.5 it'd feel alot better lol.

I think buch will be fine at the end of the day, but due to just being a slower guy, I think he'll benefit alot more and fit a top line well, if he's more of the third guy in line for driving play versus being the 2nd. Like if Thomas and Snuggerud/whoever can form an elite top line duo, then Buch could compliment it well with his smarts and skill.

I hope the exact opposite.

Seeing McCryer frustrated on the ice is like Christmas. I felt the same about Dumbo Thornton. The media fawning over them makes their failures even more satisfying 🤣🤣🤣

Agreed. We need to work on details and tighten up. I'm just saying, give Vegas their props too. Eichel's shot/goal was elite. That started getting Vegas to believe they could claw their way back for a win, caused doubt on our bench and put all the pressure on us. I wasn't surprised by the late goals.

I will say that the difference between Monty's team and Banny's team are night and day. We are scoring...alot, just like we did when he was here before. Every week we seem to be gelling more and more as a team. The effort was there last night and Vegas is a good team. Details....they are working on them.

I'm genuinely unphased by the two 6 on 5 goals to tie it. I hope that it is being addressed internally in a video session, but I'm not going to grumble or lose any sleep about taking 2 points from Vegas in Vegas. That is a top 5 team in the league with Cup-winning experience and they were 18-6 at home entering last night. I care much more about the 55 minutes leading up to the two late goals and the fact that we came home with 2 very important points in the standings.

We are supposed to lose that game. That is a better team and we got the job done.

I did but it’s not like blowing that lead should just be ok because they’re notoriously good in the 3rd.

It’s a long season, stuff happens. Glad we played very well against a top team.

I think we’re playoff bound
