Blues Vs Vegas. We should lose. Will probably win for no reason at all.

Robert Thomas and Dylan Holloway are my top line locks

I genuinely don't know what combo of these seven players is going to be in our eventual lineup, but the first two names better be feeling the pressure from below:

Kyrou, Buchnevich, Dvorsky, Steenbrg, Stancl, Snuggerud, Neighbours

I'm really curious what it the deal with Bolduc. Was it the penalty early in last game? He wasn't benched for awhile after that, and Neighbours and Sunqvist are far more penalized than Bolduc. Bolduc is playing better than other guys that are getting more playing time. I wonder if he is giving Monty attitude or what. Very strange. 3 game point streak from a 3rd line prospect, then you scratch him twice and bench him for half the game in a 4 game span.

I wish we had a reporter who had the understanding and courage to ask these questions.

Yes hopefully Dvorsky is ready for NHL next year.
Maybe by the middle of next season, he will be ready. Dvo needs a monster offseason to work on his skating burst and to clean up big-ice Euro passing. He's doing well, but is also probably experiencing somewhat of a reality check playing against men.

The Bolduc situation, on the other hand, is confounding. There's something that we don't know. Is he up in his head too much and beating himself up for not producing more? Is it a true lack of particular NHL-level skills that Monty is seeing? The eye test is not jiving with the healthy-scratches. I'm confused. Is he being an ass? There's something going on that we don't know.

If I were to pick out a couple skills that he's lacking, then I'd say he needs to work on his stops, starts and edge work. He also needs to speed up his processing of the game as it sometimes appears that he is not anticipating the play.

It's about time the best line over the past month or so is now officially billed as the first line. Not a fan of playing Broberg on his off side though. We'll see if Suter ends up playing the right side on that pair, but I don't wanna piss off Broberg by doing what the Oilers kept making him do last year. He has been somewhat overwhelming lately though, like many of our players. He still looks good skating when he has the puck but it's not translating to offense much these days.

Love what Tucker has been doing lately. He seems to be getting how to play at the NHL level and like many people, I didn't see that coming. He was just interviewed on Hockey Sense with Strickland and it was a good listen. Very humble, workmanlike attitude on Double T (I'm coining that nickname now).
