For Tage Thompson?? Absolutely

I used to feel the same way about McAvoy, but since his shoulder surgery 2 years ago he just hasn't been the same, (and I fear his best years may be over).
If that's the case, then he's a bit over-paid at 9.5 mil/yr (although he's still their best skating d-man)

Thompson would be a great addition to the Bruins at 7.1 mil/yr (with his best years still to come) ..but like others have said, C Mac would probably block any trade to Buffalo

Maybe we can have a thread for those of us who actually want the Bruins to make the playoffs. A thread for those of us who don’t want to trade Pasta , McAvoy, Swayman. A thread for those of us who actually want to cheer them on .

I'm still in the "wanna see the B's make the playoffs" group, and I'll ALWAYS cheer them on, although I'd be willing to trade McAvoy for a top line center if that's what it takes...but I wouldn't wanna trade Pasta or Swayman

Just finished watching the game, as it's been an eventful couple of days with the snow, even here in Houston. I did look at the outcome as I didn't have the intestinal fortitude to do another Ottawa game.

San Jose provided a glimpse into what a full rebuild looks like; and it's not pretty. How many years have they been bad? Washington retooled without bottoming out, and with the pieces the B's have, that's possible.

Full rebuilds aren't guaranteed - just look at Buffalo, San Jose, Anaheim. Even if this year is a wash, I'd rather they not go for a five year plan that may not even work.

I'm not too concerned about the New Jersey game; but the only acceptable outcome against Ottawa is a regulation win, after the blown points and points given to them in the two meetings thus far. Curious what Sacco does; I'd give Korpisalo a shot against his former team.

And I know it's not much, but I don't get a lot of practice. Actually, I don't get any. But I made my first snowman. If the snow hasn't melted, tomorrow I'm making him a girlfriend.
