Look what happened in 2023 playoffs, we had a better team, we loaded up at trade deadline and still could not get it done. We do not have a whole lot to offer in order to get a couple of true finishers.

I feel just too much required to be even considered a true contender. Cap space will also be a factor in our attempt to improve.
Not just a finisher, the B's don't want them. They need a 200 ft finisher.

Not sure where to put this but Morning Bru announced that Barry Pederson is now a grandpa. His daughter Tatum had a baby girl yesterday during the game. Congrats to Barry, Tatum and the entire family!
WOW! Grandpa Barry! Seems like yesterday he was a rookie on the same line as Rick Middleton. Where does the time go??!!?!?!?!?!

I'll bite: What does someone doing long division in his head look like? I have zero clue as I never could do long division in my head

More than just one and it is not going to happen. Players of this caliber will not be made available for what we can offer. Gms will not just say oh the Bruins need help let's just make some trades with DS.

A win is a win, so they say. But it took 2 lucky, non-intended deflections, a little Coyle bank off the goalie that was smart but should never have worked, and a big 3rd period push, to put away the worst team in the league on home ice. Points for effort, perseverance, and getting pucks to the net, but overall that wasn't very encouraging.

Still, 3 and a half wins in the last 4, that's something. Next 3 are tough though. Let's see how they shape up there.

What has amazed me is how good of a passer he is. Like everyone else I focus on his goal scoring and it was great to see him setting up his linemates for shots when his own shooting wasn't good. He seems back on track now. :crossfing
From where we sit he is still hurting. He doesn't smile much at all anymore.

...and two of the teams in the last four were Florida and Tampa, so there's that.
