Guaranteed if they get an early lead they will let the other team tie it not long after. You can just see it coming as they look like were ahead so we are in great shape.

They won't go far as they just have too many obvious holes in the lineup. DS you cannot fix the problems via trades so do not waste anymore assets or draft picks.

I do not believe that McAvoy and H. Lindholm will miraculously make us a true contender.

You can never rule out making hockey trades to make your team better, shot term or long term. The league doesn't contain 32 GM's that are hockey geniuses.
Should at least be finding circumstances that a trade will make your team marginally better short and medium term.

You can never rule out making hockey trades to make your team better, shot term or long term. The league doesn't contain 32 GM's that are hockey geniuses.
Should at least be finding circumstances that a trade will make your team marginally better short and medium term.

Look what happened in 2023 playoffs, we had a better team, we loaded up at trade deadline and still could not get it done. We do not have a whole lot to offer in order to get a couple of true finishers.

I feel just too much required to be even considered a true contender. Cap space will also be a factor in our attempt to improve.

I thought Pastrnak was unreal. Again. Amazing what he's been able to do with this cast. He's winning more battles than he loses now and seems to have shed whatever was ailing him for the first 25-30 games.

I like that others are seeing this too.
