Lucky you! I'm going to miss seeing this one. Happily someone is taking me out to dinner to celebrate my birthday, making it three celebrations in one week with different friends. Obviously, grad students value free food! And it explains why so many of my pants have elastic waists.

I'd like to have us beat the Leafs, but as several folks have said it's not as important as resting injured players. We know we're going into the playoffs and some extra rest now, especially tacked onto the all-star break, can make a crucial difference at the end of the year. That said, I'd love to see Ehlers or Connor break out with multiple goal games, just to show the centre of the universe that the Jets are for real.

I'll be at the game as well and a ST holder I've been way too many Leafs games. My least anticipated game of the year. All the Leafs jerseys makes you want to puke, but it does feel good when we beat them. Feels like shit if we don't and you want to run away as fast as you can. C'mon Helly stone the bastards!

In my younger days I had a baseball cap with flaps on either side that said bullshit protectors, normally you tied them upand it looked like a normal cap but when someone at a bar or game stated beaking off I would untie lower said protection and carry on usually I got a good laugh from people that don't take sports like a life or death struggle. Wish I still had that cap.

Trust me, you won't want to. I haven't made my final choices (there's like 1,600 photos in my FB and dozens of them have more than a hundred likes) but for the second one I'm leaning towards a club shot from April, 2022 where I'm almost falling out of my top. Unlike Plain Jane, LOL, I have very little to fall out.

I'm predicting you'll be disappointed and part of the collective shrug crowd.

Little concerned about how it seemed like Scheifele was ready to go and then he wasn't. Even looked like Iafallo was a placeholder for him on the powerplay. Hopefully didn't aggravate his injury further.

Seems like it is up and down depending on the day. Good on Scheifele for realizing that he wasn't all the way there and pulling himself out of this game. I would have expected him to down play the discomfort and play just because it's he Leafs.

I really want this guy to pan out, has all the tools, just frustrating it doesn't amount to much on the scoresheet. I don't think he's the answer on that line but might be worth a look. He has gotten a couple of chances with Nino/Apples and it hasn't amounted to much, granted they were right after returning from a long injury.
