I recall thinking earlier in the game how much better Hellebuyck has been at handling the puck this season. Still true, but that first goal was a pretty glaring mistake.

Thankful we didn’t give up 2 in the final minute. Late period goals are sickening, especially when it’s Reeves scoring them. The only part of Helle’s game that makes me nervous is his puck handling. I thought the Jets had a 7.5/10 period otherwise. Nice to see them throwing the body around some. A big PP goal to begin the second would give us some momentum. I really want us to embarrass the Leafs tonight, not just win. Winnipeg born Leafs fans who don’t cheer for the Jets are goofs, even the ones I call friends.

The mute button was invented for things like the SN panel, don’t torture yourselves. Use this time to fix a drink, kiss your gal or guy, scratch your pet, take a leak, post, or do some light cardio to get your pulse up to yell at the TV for the upcoming period.
