A very good bounce-back period and despite the penalties(and Gallagher) we managed to hold it at 2-2. The Lightning are an aging team on the back to back and that bodes well for us in the third.

I hate the scapegoat attitude on this board. Because once it sets in, posters literally just cannot acknowledge good play unless a player has points on the board, even at that it’s a struggle for them.

Example is Newhook. It’s a good while he’s playing very well, but not putting up points, even though he’s creating multiple chances a game. Felt like it was a matter of time before he did, and it’s clicking again.

But some folks can’t see good play until the points accumulate

I appreciate his elite skating and the way he competes. No way this player isn't a key piece moving forward. Future 3rd line center?

I didn't lie, I didn't take into account his NAHL and USHL tenures, I was wrong to omit that, the point was he didn't start coaching until well into his forty's and had no NHL experience when hired.
