I hate the scapegoat attitude on this board. Because once it sets in, posters literally just cannot acknowledge good play unless a player has points on the board, even at that it’s a struggle for them.

Example is Newhook. It’s a good while he’s playing very well, but not putting up points, even though he’s creating multiple chances a game. Felt like it was a matter of time before he did, and it’s clicking again.

But some folks can’t see good play until the points accumulate

Dude, he’s been our coach for 3 years now. Everyone has an expiration date. I dont think he’s a tactical coach but he’s clearly an NHL coach. Yes i do not think he will be the coach of a winning cup contending team, but he has his value and i was happy with the hiring.

Then you doubled down and stated THE ONLY DIFFERENCE (bro why are you mad) was that he had 3 years of AHL ( as if that’s nothing).

Gallagher can play ok against bad teams (NYR), but he can't play against good teams. He can't maintain the pace. He can't break through being pressured - infact, he just turns the puck over in those moments.

Anderson picked his game up in that period. Dvo was better. Gallagher was mostly terrible.

You know because you said that Gally will get the game winner now
