I'm saying the value of having Matheson is higher than trading him right now. If Hughes could have traded him for an upgrade he would have by now.

Matheson's positives on this team is severely under appreciated.

If you can upgrade the D via trade with Matheson, then absolutely go for it, but I don't think that's as easy as some think.

Matheson is a positive for this team on most nights and can do things not alot of others can. The disrespect he gets for his occasaional brain farts and bad games are way overblown IMO.

As the team improves those brain farts will become more obvious as well as costly. They can be forgiven on a team going nowhere, but a team in the mix? Not.
