I wanted Dobes but I can see Monty having a good game after some poor ones. He's due

That game against the Leafs was circumstantial. The entire team did not have an answer to the extra level the Leafs played after they were down 3 goals. Putting this on Monty's back is just not fair. He's not C Price. Monty has a $3.15M AAV and is overperforming to that contract.

We need both Monty and Dobes. Best not to throw Monty under the bus and also best to protect Dobes and the momentum he has. Dobes will get more starts

If the team continues to play steady defensively they won't plummet down the standings. They will lose games because every team does but if the fundamentals remain in place we will probably make the playoffs or be in it right till the end.

There were people posting in the summer we needed to pick top5 like 2-3 more years.. or we were 2-3 years away from the playoffs..

That would of been disastrous for the boys
