Horrible windchill for the next few days, dress warm people going to the game tonight.....
I will be leaving my heated garage in my Jets Jersey with my son, parking at the convention centre, walking through the walkways, then home the same way never leaving the comfort of central heating.
My how I love the location of our Arena especially on days like this!
Need to wash that song out, Calgary is going to hear Scheifele's goal song alot tonight. 
Agreed, i park there and do the same or even the library because it's not far to go outside at all.

Brilliant job @Section 325 Franklin as Baron is hilarious. My daughter loved that show as a kid. I loved the Racoons as a kid, lol.

Never forget that a large part of the Flames fanbase sneers at our very existence in the NHL. When the Jets weren't in the league, they went out of their way to pound their chest saying that the league would never have us back. They said it was impossible. They think we don't belong in the league.

I got tickets for this game as part of the mystery bag from the Wild game. So I already knew about the cowboy hat part.
Since it was Judy's birthday a few weeks ago, a couple of her friends and I will be going. So we decided to make fun of it. Bought some cheap cowboy hats online as well as some Jets patches, so all 3 ladies will be decorating them today as an activity.
I wanted to rent a full blown cowboy costume for myself but Judy vetoed that

In my youth I couldnt stand country. But there are artist now with non-traditional western voices I like. Off to the cesspool known as Calgary puck. Gonna have to use an abrasive industrial cleaner when Im done there.

Calgary is not great away from home, so I'd expect the Jets to end the homestand on a positive here. The rematch is also in a week so set the tone for that too.

I would have put money on you being an Eagles fan, and I'd also put money on KISS's Dynasty being one of your least favorite KISS albums. 'I Can't Tell You Why' (Eagles) is one of my favorites.
Country contribution, you can't go wrong with Marty Robbins! Listening to this reminds me of watching reruns on TV, on a weekend afternoon in the '80s.

I'll never forget the time I got into a car with two buddies and El Paso came on the radio and me and one of the other guys just started singing along...
The look the third guy gave us like "WTF is wrong with you guys that you know the words to this" was hilarious
Anyway, let's hope the Jets keep picking up steam like a big ol' convoy before they head on the road to become highwaymen
