I don't think byfuglien ever got the recognition for his hands. Yes, he was a bulldozer and had a heavy shot, but he had some soft hands too.

He had a scary tools set, but I got the impression from him that he was just a guy who happened to be good at hockey rather than a guy who loved hockey.
