I've been sitting here thinking the exact same thing. If this is to be rock bottom, lets get the pain over with sooner rather than later.

Although there's no way DL walks away from this game with a rosy glow even if we eke out a win.

Plus, this team is struggling to score goals, can they afford to have the defensive adventure that is Carter/Richards in a game like this? The Maginot Line was a better defense.

Win or lose, this game is a defining moment. Something needs to change. You can't play nearly one entire period on the powerplay and not score. Unacceptable.

I don't disagree with you, but it feels like that Kopitar made Brown better and Carter made Richards better and we had 2 lines that were generally capable.
