he looked extremely dangerous on that shift!
Not a big fan of him ... but the fact is I think he's fast... he's a big guy who needs to learn how to use his weight and speed... has a good shot... he's decent defensively... but he 99 % of the time comes over the ozone blue line and curls back.

Zero creativity. Just derp derp. Skill is there but not a lot of brain. Frustrating player.

Then he does that and you're like ... wait he got it for that shift... why can't he figure it out.

yep its like he knows what will make him successful, just wont do it that often! frustrating to say the least

This reallyyyyyy feels like the MTL series

There are several bottom feeding teams - Columbus is one, so is Arizona - that give the Leafs fits because they don’t score much but play structured, disciplined hockey and make the most of their chances.

Montreal is also one of those teams.

Leafs aside from playing like shit against Montreal all the time also never have any puck luck. How many picks have rolled just wide of the Montreal net?

Here we are again where I should know better and not think Leafs would kill them... but another tie game late... ugh

The offensive skill of this team is off the charts and yet their pp has always seemed never remotely as consistently dangerous as Edmonton, TB or even Boston. You put Nylander on Team Sweden or Matthews on team USA and I bet they score relentlessly. What is wrong with this team that for the last 6 years they haven’t had a consistent, dangerous looking pp?

Is Murray injured or Samsonov has simply won the starting role for the time being?

I mean I watch most of the games so apologies for not knowing what's up just wondering.

montreal is laying body and finishing their checks leafs are so f***ing soft.

even ultimate frisbee people who are playing for laughs play with more physicality

it is embarrassing to watch opposition have their way with us physically
