With all due respect to the posters on this thread, ANYONE who blames Skinner for the third goal either

a) hasn't played goal in ice hockey at a level above Tim Bits, or
b) is completely obtuse.

Blame the complete lack of support from the defense on that play.

With all due respect, Skinner has been the 2nd best goalie on most nights for the last 2 seasons and he continues to have embarrassing stats for a goalie on an elite team.

But yeah I won’t blame him for the 3rd goal on the 12th shot.

Meanwhile, Logan Thompson has shown what a good goalie does for your team.

Skinner is a backup goalie. Nothing more.
