I mean I saw this coming a mile away, should've bet the Blues would lose this game because for some reason they have an unbelievable time against Arizona/Utah.

One thing is certain and that's Monty has Schenn playing like a 2nd line center/winger again. Don't know what he has told him, if Schenn got healthier, or some combination of a hot streak or what have you, but he is playing well offensively:

First 22 games under Bannister
3 goals, 6 assists, 9 points, -8 , 6% shooting
Rate of 11g, 22a, 33p, (-29)

Next 24 games under Monty (not including tonight)
7 goals, 11 assists, 18 points, +8, 17.5% shooting
Rate of 23g, 37a, 60p, (+27)

Whether or not the rate continues is a moot point, he's at least playing like a power forward and scoring like a late 20's/early 30's forward of his style. I haven't looked at his usage to see if he's playing wing or center more (probably wing?), but if this is how he plays for a few more seasons, then cool.

Schenn's been the center between Holloway and Kyrou.
And he definitely compliments the two of them with his board work/net front game.

He is definitely the center of that line. Agreed he looks great but think it’s mainly because Holloway is doing most of the skating and grinding. Kyrou speed lets them easily gain the zone. He knows how to position himself well for one timers and can still support on board battles. Overall you have to be ecstatic with his play since the coaching change.

GET FAULK OFF THIS TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!
The coaching staff listened to me. Faulk didn’t see a shift after he sat in the slot and literally watched the 4th Utah goal for about 5 seconds by himself. That was the 3rd momentum killing shift in a row by him.

It’s no coincidence the Blues dominated the rest of the period without Faulk. Want to see a 3 game winning streak? Scratch Faulk for a couple weeks. Dead serious, the guy does nothing good and sooo much wrong on a nightly basis.

Couldn’t agree more. His play fell off a cliff and it’s as much mental as anything

He's a tough contract to move, but I would love to see him gone.
I would say shut him down for the year because of an “injury” but the Blues are already eating 10M on dmen that are “injured” for the year with Krug and Leddy. Yes Krug had surgery but he wouldn’t have had that surgery if he wasn’t playing so bad (where he said wasn’t nothing him on the ice very much). Leddy isn’t hurt, he simply sucks.

Talk about 3 absolutely brutal veteran dman FA signings by Army. All 3 signings made in a what 3 year stretch?
