MUST win tonight if they want to make the playoffs is a little dramatic. They are going to lose some games during the playoff chase. Calgary and Vancouver both have tough games. The two Flames games were must wins. This is not.

I think you’re viewing it wrong. It’s not that the Blues are in dire straights but rather this hedges our bets.
The Blues are 2/2 in “must wins”. Therefore, if every game becomes a “must win”, then the Blues will never lose!
Agreed. It would be nice to put our first 3-game win streak together though. We aren't making the playoffs without putting together a win streak or two. It isn't a must win game, but a win would be really good for our playoff chances for multiple reasons.

It's a must win in the sense of having a playoff mentality. It's a team we are fighting with for the last spot and another chance at 3 in a row. We have to do both of those to make the playoffs.
