That's right boys and girls, another Jets game on Roger Sportsnet. Can you say "that sucks"? I knew that you could... The 30-11-4 Winnipeg Jets are in Toronto to take on the 23-14-8 Maple Leafs at the Scotiabank Arena at 6:00pm CST. The Jets are coming off of a 4-1 defeat at the hands of the Boston Bruins and are 8-2 in their last ten games. Toronto beat the Seattle Kraken 3-1 in their last match, and are 5-4-1 in their last ten games. Will Mark Scheifele and Gabriel Vilardi be ready for tonight's match-up, or will the Jets have to play without them? Can Croissant have a buttery good game against the Leafs? Doesn't Auston Matthews have a conflict of interest playing in the Scotiabank Arena and being a shill for the Royal Bank? Will @GeorgeJETson continue with his words of wisdom during the game, or has he used up all of his material? These questions and more were lost on the luggage carousel at Pearson International earlier this morning...

Hooo doggies @macmaroon you slay. Nothing says "git yer befeckit gaberlunzie bawbag oot tae windae" like a good old fashioned double finger from Mr. Rogers.

The SN media will be tripping over themselves with tail wagging the dog if things dinnae go the Jets way. Aside from learning about Austin's nostril care products and which gotch brand that Nylander prefers, we're sure to hear about how their goaltending woes are but a brief mirage and that Keefe is a genius mastermind.

Lets find out if our sick and wounded are able to rise to the occasion (notochord function - check; oxygen exchange via the cleanest waters of the Humber River or lake Ontario itself - check (will need a transfusion later)) and hammer out a win.

Hoping Schief is back and we can get our third line back, which is going to be the most impactful line keeping their top 6 in check.

We can really take advantage of their bottom 6 if Lows is back on third.

Our defensive structure should get a good stress test with their top 6, but outside of that, we are much better defensively, much much better in net and our top 6 if Scheif and Gabe are back can challenge theirs.

Just do not get in any run and gun hockey that they thrive off of. Patient defensively and pounce on their mistakes.
