Am I the only one who is glad it doesn't work? For me on my phone it ends up loading while I'm reading (I guess that's the point) but I get all discombobulated. I'd prefer to read and refresh.

Plus I don't like how the new messages add to the end of whatever page you are on.
Say you start reading a 4 page thread. Then you end up reading 3 or 4 new messages (out of order).
I'm not in that much of a hurry to read the posts.
I'm basically NEVER posting/reading during the games so the live feature is of no value to me.

It would be nice to go on a bit of a heater to:

a) make hay on this home stand
b) regain a bit of the massive lead we once had
c) keep the barn rocking for the fans

Nino and Cole need to keep the points coming.
When this team is getting production from the "2nd line" / non-Lowry line, we are deadly.

I was wondering if Fleury would get in against his former team. He and Miller and both skating in regular jerseys. Might be Calgary instead of this game. If Stanley plays I hope he doesn't make any big blunders, getting booed in your own rink is a good way to rattle a player.

Is this a Comrie game? Things you need to know before you predict the score.

I guess Kakko is the player to watch on the Kraken? Ryker Evans seems like a good prospect on defense.

How’s Stanley looking out there y’all? I see he’s eating up a good amount of toi these days, including shtoi, and seems to be throwing the body and blocking a lot of shots. Curious what you all think though as you actually watch the games!

Not to jinx it, but I was thinking that Vilardi reaching 40 goals isn't out of the question too.

I don't know how many times a line had two 50-goal-scorers on it, with another guy hitting 40, but The Triple Crown Line did it in 1980-81.

Of course, it's not likely going to happen. Vilardi, Scheifele, and KFC all have to have even more of an uptick to hit those marks from now until the end of the season. Scoring in 1980-81 is one of the highest historically.

He's much hated around here, which is guess isn't different from the 6/7 defensemen on most teams.

He wasn't great in the last game which has renewed the hate, but in reality he's been fine to good for the majority of his minutes since he came back from early season injury.

He has his warts, but what bottom pair guy doesn't?

He's a good passer, has decent offensive instincts and gets his shot through to the net consistently. He can be physical, I'd like to see that more consistently. He does tend to get into penalty trouble with his size, though.

He's not great at reading the rush, and that coupled with below average pivots and agility gets him into trouble against faster, shiftier forwards.

He's quite literally the worst passer on the team. He's by far our worst player. When Fluery is healthy I'm not sure we see much of him hopefully

Looks like we are going to get the 1st blizzard of the year starting tonight and most of tomorrow. 90km an hour wind gusts tomorrow, drive safe tonight whoever is going to game. And by all means come and shovel my driveway tomorrow if you want , just look for the guy with the red shovel.
