How’s Stanley looking out there y’all? I see he’s eating up a good amount of toi these days, including shtoi, and seems to be throwing the body and blocking a lot of shots. Curious what you all think though as you actually watch the games!

Cheers 🙏🏻

Well it’s a forestry project, and Sequoias take a long time to mature. 🌲🌲🌲🌲
Evidently True North sees some value in saving at least one patch of Old Growth, regardless of how many loggers would dearly love to see it cut down.

Thank @macmaroon - even in their self-imposed (her/they/them) absence the mighty pair garner copious attention, drawing it to their bosom as does the neutron star the local bend of space and time. As the stomach turns...

Now then, back to matters at hand...

Allowing for the focus to shift now to this game... what of our re-jigged lines? Will Scotty continue to access the skein of hyperspatial decision-making, reflecting a propensity for seemingly heretofore unknown depths (round these h'yar parts) of priescent thought? Or, like many of those before him, will he follow the natural course of sine wave movement from realspace to hyperspace by accessing the ominipresent energy grid?

In other words, when armed with a healthy D core, what will Scotty do?

Stay tuned Jets fans!

Oh, and go hard ye gibbering pack of salivating ungulates (Jets).

Introducing the Kraken roster 2025

Bjorkstrand, centre. Not a bad player for an impertinent swag-bellied grasscombing swine.

1737034097787.png

Kraken D-men Vince Dunn and Adam Larson. Both creeping beef-witted wagtails.

1737034130040.png

Brandon Montour. Well known among Jets fans as a dank spongeing semi-purified toad.

1737034159887.png

Jordan Eberle – forward aka a traitorous blistered ripe-reeking coxcomb.

1737034186547.png

Ryker Evans – LW: an umuzzled codpiece with watery bowels.

Jamie Oleksiak (checks notes) Yes, its him – D – clearly a scandalous deformed arrogant scullion.

Don't know if you are a Jets fan but if you aren't whatever team you are a fan of tell them Stanley is available for a really good 2nd center .:naughty:

Kraken, shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art not lovely, warm and more squishy:
Rough winds do shake your exoskeleton gnarly,
And summer's lease hath yield to conditions nasty:
Sometime too hot the eye of hockey shines,
And often that gold complexion reflecto;
And every far-from-fair benthic form declines,
By chance or goals pounded home by fast Perfecto;
Aye, thy Krake'd eternal bummer shall not fade
Nor puck possession of that sad Dunn owest;
Nor shall Daccord brag Jets wander'st in his shade,
When thine betentacl'd forward lines lack skill to growest:
So long as Jets can breathe or Scotty can see,
Long lives our puck cycle to take games from thee.

He's much hated around here, which is guess isn't different from the 6/7 defensemen on most teams.

He wasn't great in the last game which has renewed the hate, but in reality he's been fine to good for the majority of his minutes since he came back from early season injury.

He has his warts, but what bottom pair guy doesn't?

He's a good passer, has decent offensive instincts and gets his shot through to the net consistently. He can be physical, I'd like to see that more consistently. He does tend to get into penalty trouble with his size, though.

He's not great at reading the rush, and that coupled with below average pivots and agility gets him into trouble against faster, shiftier forwards.

Very good and fair review, me personally i have him behind, Miller , Fleury and Coghlan on the depth chart . I really like the little we have seen from Coghlan so far.
