Philly sucks. No idea how they have more points than us. At least they're entertaining.

15 games that have gone to OT or further for them. 21 points in such games. Bruins have 9 such games, and 15 points.

In a 3 point system, the Bruins would have 9 more points than Philadelphia, as opposed to 1 fewer.

The league is setup for parity now just the way they want it.Shootout is a joke .Bruins need these wins at home.

May sound blasphemous but I wouldn't have ANY of the "old core" (46, 37, 63, or 33) out on a the 5 on 3 PP.

Pastrnak - Backes - Vatrano

Colin - Krug

Move your feet and blast away.

But it doesn't work like that for veterans in the NHL.

It wouldn't really affect parity, though. Sure, a 15 point standings lead in the three point system sounds much more intimidating, but it's still "just" five wins, so ten points in this system. And you can make up much more ground when it's not deemed as valuable to win a game in OT or shootout as a dominant win in regulation. Rather get rid of the OT altogether, but still.

Did he even use it once though? if he's not gonna use it than he isn't much of a factor.

It's a threat the PK has to worry about at least. Z didn't get the chance but it should make more space to go down low. We needed better execution.

What has Colin Miller done to earn PP1 time. Out of 300 (three hundred!) players with 50 or more PP minutes, only two have fewer PP points than Colin Miller.

Take away the loser pts it changes everything.Last year Bruins had more wins in regulation then Philly and Detroit yet they both made playoffs.

I've been afraid to say something because I didn't want to jinx it... but is Claude Giroux even playing in this game?

Overrated PP specialist on the team that gets the most PPs.

To add to the parity discussion, the SHL has a 10 point difference between the 3rd and 9th (out of 14) teams after two thirds of the season. You can make up almost all of that in just three games.

And that's a league without a salary cap or draft.

That's not PP 1 time, it's specialized 5 on 3 time.

And I just want him for his cannon. That's it.

It's not about who deserves what.

He's successively declined a lot since 2013-14, that's for sure. Could well get back to that level, though.
