I agree it wasn't vicious and I don't think there was malice, however it was careless and dangerous and warranted the 5 mins.

This where I am at. Also, given the level of intent in the hit, don't see a reason to "go after Voracek" when he is back. It was reckless but not malicious. Take the PPG and move on.

I think5 minutes is a bit excessive.

Same outcome as Blidh's hit on Josi the other night. Looks like a penalty that potentially leads to an injury is given a 5 minute major. I think the argument of a two minute penalty instead of the five minutes is fair. It's a bit refreshing that there is some form of consistency though.
