That reminds me of a true NHL story. A guy by the name of Dino Ciccarelli who played for Minny back in the day was charged with indecent exposure after apparently carrying out his garbage in nothing but his gaunch, on trash pick up day, and some neighbour saw it and freaked and called the cops.

A few weeks later he was healthy scratched for a game, and the announcer said pre-game, "not dressing for the Stars, Dino Ciccarelli."

I'm sure it got some laughs in the crowd.

From what I’ve heard on oilercentric podcasts, I’m led to believe he is going to join the team (perhaps tonite), and will practice for at least a couple days before so the coaching staff can figure out his entry plan into the lineup.

Based on the pattern of our last few games, we will be down 4-0 five minutes into the game. Petey will have fallen down 4 times and laid on the ice making snow angels, and the Cucks will be inspired by their leader and pop 4 PP goals. The camera shows the Oiler bench, and McDrai are both yawning. The Oilers proceed to score 9 straight to win 9-4. Miller and Petey both finish -9, as fans chant both of their names, but with an FU before each name. Skinner scores two empty netters to take over the team lead in that category. HFOil PGT is filled with comments complaining that Skinner’s goals were meaningless since he couldn’t get the hatty, and that his scoring is too inconsistent.

I wonder if Klinger is bringing his family from Sweden

Anyway this is a big game for the Nucks. I hope we destroy them quite frankly, but this game means much more to them than it does to us (as usual). Their fans were unbelievably annoying and toxic during the playoffs, they deserved to lose and they deserve the season they’re having. Just like the flames. They’ll always have game 1 though, that’s as good as it gets for them.

After reading some of those ignorant tweets and articles, etc, with the writers basically calling Petey a god and the Canucks contenders, and then reading their fans posts talking about how they would have won it all last year with Demko, I hope they get f***ing crushed tonight and miss the playoffs this year. And, either find no takers for Petey and Miller, or get absolutely torched in the return. They are fast moving past the Flames in first place for douche fans and bloggers.

I can see why LA moved on from him. Super talented player, but consistently missing time in the regular season and the playoffs when you're relied on as a top 6 player...health is a skill in pro sports.

lol...that's not our style. We'll sleepwalk through the first period, spotting Vancouver a two or three goal lead. Then we'll wake up in the second and third, hopefully narrowly eeking out a win.
 
In order to uno-reverso the overconfidence jinx, I predict that the oilers start slow and listless, and the Canucks put up three in the first. The Oilers put up a valiant effort in the second and third periods; even scoring a goal; but ultimately they get “goalied” and lose 4 - 1; with Miller scoring the empty netter.

I PRAY that my prediction is wrong!

I’ve been throwing out my garbage and shoveling the snow in my boxers for years. I blame my neighbors divorce on him being jealous that his wife was watching me thru the window all the time….
 
I think we go 1-1 against VAN this week. especially if we have our typical 1st period (which Vancouver actually looks their worst in). Give them no room and they just fade away.

Expect Petey to draw at least 2 penalties by falling around. Hopefully Demko continues shi**ing the bed.

ALl they have to do is rush Quinn Hughes. Everything runs through him from the point. Shoot and prey is their way.

Tons of Canucks are struggling to score. I can see Piss Sooter going off tonight for some reason lol. Somebody also knock Sherwood good. Guy is about to almost double the NHL record for hits in a season.
