Game #46: Oilers @ Canucks - 8 PM - HNIC

I seen skinner make some big stops
Can't really blame him

Throw him some blame if we get two goals and start dominating and he lets in a brutal one

Demko could have gone to the bathroom that period and came back. This is a guy who has like an 880 and 3.4gaa and they aren't even testing him

He made multiple big saves to keep them in it and they responded by playing even worse.

the Canucks dominated us. Why is that not an issue to you?
Because the oilers have proven they can come back, skinner has not ever been consistent for more than a couple weeks

Stop the 11-7 nonsense and stop waiting until the team spots the opposition multiple goals before they put in some effort. What a wet fart of a period and especially against these bums.
That was more than a wet fart. They all need diaper changes

First two goals were just pucks on net and getting lucky. One off Ekholm and one where it looks like arvidsson tips it into skinners pad giving a rebound.
This is why our guys need to do more of it. Canucks always do that. They don't have anybody who just dominates like drai or McDavid can.

Hughes from the back I guess

Our thing is to pass it around the boards and not one guy is close to the net most of the time

Hopefully we have some 2nd and 3rd period magic in store. Vancouver is getting us off our game by playing chippy and dirty. We need some guys that bring that element to the table to fight fire with fire.

This game was going to go one of two ways. We had good period scored first Nucks would have tucked their tail like all year

Instead, we Gave them confidence

No but that’s not really the point.

Depriving this team of a skilled forward to dress a slow, terrible defender that struggles to make breakout passes is dumb as f***.
Well let's hope that since he is in that he at least puts some players on their asses. Otherwise what's the point of having him around?

I still think Desharnais was a bigger loss than Broberg or Holloway. That dude could play the enforcer role and wasn't lost on the ice.
