You're all missing the boat on Marty, you don't tighten the screws on an unfinished product until all the parts are assembled. Now is not the time for systems and such, he's here to develop and help this team grow.

Alot of you scoff at his philosophical and motivational tactics, but this is exactly what this team needs as it goes through what can be a long depressing rebuild. The fact this team hasn't quit and actually look like they still enjoy playing hockey despite everything it's gone through with injuries and losing is a testament to what a great job he's doing.
If his name was John smith he’d be fired by 11:30

In a Barred Spiral
Toughness needed size needed
Habs way to easy to play against
Alot area is like no touch area
Even in this lame NHL era u have to play a little physical at times
Forget toughness, we need skill. Like real elite skill. I'm tired of gameplans focusing on shutting down other teams star players while we don't have any to go head to head.

They are planting seeds, doing exactly the kind of development many have wanted to see, but few really understand.

You guys really should have switched to Leafs game. They choke. They’re soft. They whine. It’s a beautiful thing.

Marty's problem is he's been too good for the sake of the rebuild, not the other way around.
