A quote from Rick tocchet that kinda stuck with me is that your gotta learn how to play tired.

I feel like these are the elements you need:

1) sound structure
2) a veteran group that knows each other well

I don't think montreal ticks either box. I'm a big believer that in these scheduling crunches is when experience is a huge deal. You have to work smart, and there needs to be an elevated sense of cohesion and execution.
