Agreed but their are several prospects on his heels. He is going to need to show some improvements defensively and really needs to get stronger on his skates.

You and I agree on a few things, maybe not with this one. He's way overly bashed here IMO. On RD, Kovacevic and Savard's days are numbered. Not Barron's. Barron fits the timeframe for our plan and is developing just fine considering age and experience. On RD, I see our future as: Barron, Maillioux and Reinbacher. But the latter two are at least a 2 seasons away. Guhle has been awful this year, should we give up on him too? We're looking at 2-3 years from now before we fully cement our team core and identity.
