Hey kings fans! Just wanted to drop by to let you know that you have no bigger fans this week than CBJ fans.

If you knock off one, or both, of Minny and Detroit, that is huge for us. If I had to pick one, please beat Detroit!

Good luck tonight and tomorrow!

Dubinsky didn't earn you a lot of support last time you were in Staples Center.

But thanks and good luck all the same.

i support Columbus in return...if you get the 8th then i think if you play Chicago with the same ferocity as you played us a couple games ago you have a chance at an upset and nothing would make me happier than seeing a 1st round exit for Chicago.

Edit: Idiotic typo

Anyone remember Wild fans regarding their team as top tier in the west along with Blackhawks? Lol, it wasn't even a month ago, Kings haven't played Wild yet, then they beat us in SO, traded for Pominville and went downhill from there.

And if you keep playing with that same suffocating and relentless forecheck that you played against us the other night, I don't see any teams stopping you. I havent watched a lot of Kings games this year outside of the game against us last week.

During that game at least, the Kings reminded me quite a bit of the CBJ with their relentlessness, especially on the forecheck. Forcing turnovers left and right against our dmen in the first few periods.

Only difference is, You have a lot more skill to boot in the lineup. If you continue that suffocating style of play, look out.

was a pretty split reaction between those who were pissed and those who would have wanted that effort from the kings if they were in the same situation.

The injury to Heatley hasn't helped either.

Nobody I was sitting next to wanted any of our players to blind side cheap shot someone in the back of the head without a glove on after the game has already ended. Especially one of their star players.

Meh. Bygones. I personally don't care who gets the 8 spot.

Before injuries last year they were leading the west for a fair amount of time. I do not hink they are truly a top contender but if there are "A" level and "B" level they would be in the "B" level.

The injury to Heatley hasn't helped either.

And last year it was Koivu, Latendresse, Bouchard, Backstrom, and Harding.
Names and excuses may change, but the results stay the same... Factor in that they aren't in a very good position cap-wise and things don't look good.

No Wild fan ever said we were up there with the Hawks. When we were playing good, most of us thought we were in that 2nd tier with St. Louis and Vancouver. This will be 5 years in a row without playoffs since the continuing collapse is likely inevitable and I hope and pray Yeo gets canned after this season, but I'm not getting my hopes up. You guys will win tonight but what I wouldn't give for just a loser point. . . .

Anything that shows this team actually gives a **** about making the playoffs would be nice. No excuses this year either. We've been relatively healthy, signed two huge free agents, and a rookie d-man who's far exceeding expectations.

In any case, good luck to you folks tonight, not that you'll need it.

Let's get this done in regulation to help the Wild drop from 7th place. I do not want Anaheim to have an easy first round.

The satellite at the house I'm staying at died so I will have no tv and no internet. I can follow scores on my BlackBerry but only if I'm in the front half of the house, not the back. It's like caveman days!

I don't look at last year as an excuse but an explanation. Similar to when we lost Deadmarsh, Palffy, Allison....Do I think if they stayed healthy they would have won the president's, no. But I think they would have made the playoffs.
With the new additions I would expect them to be a team that is battling for home ice in the playoffs. They are playing below that right now.

Where do you live, Antarctica?

Funny that Lumbus fans are huge Kings and Jeff Carter fans for the next couple of days. :D

Kings need to get their road mojo back starting tonight.

Hope Bernier and the Kings can have a solid game and beat the Wild in OT. Lumbus needs it and it never hurts to keep winning into the playoffs for LA :)

I would like the Jackets to get in for Bobrovsky. So added incentive for tonight.

But I already wanted the Kings to win out, anyway. I want that home ice advantage. Go Kings Go!

Pounding Suter and the smallish Minnesota defense is the recipe for victory.

I am glad that Doughty has found his scoring. I do not think it is any coincidence that it has picked up since getting RR as he frees doughty up. Doughty has done a great job being more defensively responsible when not playing with a RR or scuds type of d-man.
Hopefully it continues.
