you're so impatient. only showing up when the sharks are winning. you're never here to complain when we're losing. fairweather fans
Was thinking that as well.

I hope we save that retention spot next year and use it to trade him to a contender at 50% at next year’s deadline if he ups his game.
Honestly, I doubt any team would take him even at 50%.

Which is a problem, because he had exactly zero steps to give before falling off the map.

If his contract expired after this season, I could justify the waiver claim as a culture pick. But we have to watch this dude play hockey for TWO AND A HALF MORE SEASONS!!!
Grier’s most inexcusable move yet.

Easily. Every other move, even if I wasn't a fan of it, at least has some logical basis. Burns wanted a trade and had a huge NTC list. Ceci is at least a useful player and isn't signed long-term. Kunin was young and is at least a useful player and good dude. Goodrow is absolutely inexcusable.

Seriously! And we don't even have any sort of favor back from the Rangers.....yet....if ever.

They're going to give us Will Cullye this summer for a 2nd, trust.

I tend to think that future considerations does actually mean something. Not a ton, but a "hey, I did you a favor" or "I owe you a favor", and the favor is if you're shopping a guy you go to that GM first (ie Yzerman going to Grier with the Walman proposal instead of sourcing offers from all 31 other GMs) or if there's an equivalent offer you choose the guy who you owe a favor. It'll come around in some small and probably mostly meaningless way.

This game is really highlighting how much more strength/muscle Smith needs. Even on the Rutta goal, he's easily boxed out and not able to get to a dangerous area.

Sharks have been the better team so far at 5-on-5. Stay out of the box in the 3rd and beat these PP merching frauds.

7-4-2 when leading after 2 periods is a hilarious stat. There are usually like 1 or 2 teams who finish the season 20-0 under such circumstances.
