Panarin doesn't need a shooting coach. He typically has one of the more accurate shots on the team. The problem is they aren't clean and he's just getting pucks on net now. Sometimes players are off.

I don't dislike Gallant like many do on here - that's not to say he doesn't make me seriously shake my head at some of his decisions.

Change the f***ing power play unit for the love of god. It’s been ass cheeks for weeks if not months.

Gallant will change his 5v5 lines Willy nilly but won’t change the PP. This unit is stale and predictable and not getting the job done.

If Panarin is going to play the left wall then yeah they might as well put Kakko or Chytil there, ZIbanejad is wasted on the right wall not utilizing his one-timer.

As the coach, how do you watch this PP unit and not make changes. Its not working. Overhaul it. Put Panarin on PP2. Put Kreider on PP2. Try something different. This is completely unacceptable. Its negligence.

Swap out Kreider/Troch with Chytil/Kakko on the PP. Just make the change. Try it. What can be worse than not scoring at all? f*** it, what’s worse than not getting any shots?

Maybe I'm off-base but he sucks in the bumper spot. Never ready for a quick release. Doesn't receive passes well with any consistency when he's there.

He's better in front of the net, but nobody is taking Kreider's spot. I think Tro is better suited for PP2. Maybe try Kakko in Vinny's spot.

I think that's the obvious move everyone can see beyond the dopes behind the bench

This is such a f***ing strawman. We have no personnel that's better than the 5 players on the PP. No one is saying everything's fine or that it's idea, we're saying the players in PP1 are ALL better than every single player in PP2 and better PP players.

Is it? The first PP has done nothing for over a month now. Its time to change up the personal, create two equal pp and distribute the ice time correctly. Things need to change and the coaches inability to see it and youre bullshit strawman comments dont help the situation. You believe PP1 should get most of the chances and thats fine, But look at the numbers, and look at what pp2 does in their legit 15 seconds of time on the pp. PP2 has been the better unit and deserve more time. When your PP is going 0 for the past century its time to change it. Start the 2nd pp unit, if that doesnt work, switch up 2 players from each unit, legit players like panarin, krieder, or zibs. The first unit does not shoot., THey pass, pass, take a bad angle shot or pass pass take a shot with nobody in front. They are pathetic on the PP right now.

To say that im saying the players on pp2 are better players in general to guys like panarin or zibs is not what im saying. read what i write first before trying to say my comments are strawman.

If we cleaned up our deficiencies, we'd be close to Boston in the standings. As it stands we are 3rd place in a meat grinder division, playing the best team as best as we could (remember NO ONE is beating Boston right now) and i fcking hate the make up of our squad. Things could be so far worse. I'm drunk btw
