Anyone know why Zib had a make statement on Twitter about this merger? Why is everyone so upset in the comments? Hopefully it doesn’t effect his game. Ive seen one translation but I dunno if it’s correct. Anyone know Swedish?

He's a shareholder of the hockey club that changed it's name from "Väsby Ik" to "Brödernas Väsby IK HK" after a hamburger restaurant "Brödernas" purchased a stake in the club.

Lmao at the Bruins announcers in that clip. I forgot about this one. The most blatant push and a breaindead play by McAvoy being the ONLY reason Chytil makes any kind of contact with Rask but the color guy is trying to do anything but admit that. Basically everything he says is contradicted by the replay each time.

"In today's NHL the forward has to try and avoid contact"
Replay shows Chytil turning at the top of the crease to avoid contact and McAvoy hitting him into Rask

My advice and prediction​

1. Don't take too many penalties......because they will score
2. No need to go on the PP.........because we won't score
3, Don't go shot for shot.......because we won't outscore them
4. Don't try and out defend them......because we won't
5. Don't try and out goalie them.........uhhh, maybe

Only real chance to win is that we..........

Wow, looking at that list.....they have the same disease we do. Seems they only lose to teams when they feel all they have to do is step on the ice.
Leafs and maybe the Kracken and Panthers are "good" teams?

Hope the memory of Pastrnak cheapshotting Lindgren after a clean hit is still fresh in their minds. Bruins are on the b2b, but they barely broke a sweat last night against the Islanders outside of a few grinding shifts. They'll be ready to go tonight, so the Rangers better be ready for their biggest challenge of the year.

I don't speak Swedish, but from what I can piece together:

Zibanejad and several other partners own Brodernas, which is a chain of restaurants that already owns a Swedish hockey team. Brodernas has purchased Vasby, another hockey team and changed the name to Brodernas Vasby. (Although I don't know if purchased is the right term. Brodernas is taking over business operations for 10 years, so partnership or sponsorship might be more accurate.) Zibanejad's position is that he had nothing to do with the decision and that he still loves Djurgardens, the team he played for prior to the NHL. Why are people upset about it? I still have no idea.

I don't know about purchased, but they at least entered into a sponsorship which also entailed a name and logo change.

Promotional material featuring Mika was used in the opening part of the video announcing the deal, perhaps making it seem like he was part of the process, so upset fans found an easy scapegoat.

The discussion of Blais is just beating a dead horse now, it is what it is. Anytime I think about that trade I just remember how awesome Adam Fox is and all the unhappy thoughts just go away. lol.
