I think Edmundson would have had quite a bit of value at the TDL had his contract been a year shorter.

If I'm a GM looking to add a player for the playoff run, I'm not looking at a guy who has shown no durability since the 2021 final, including a back procedure last year, and significant time missed due to the same back issue right into camp.

I see a guy playing his worse hockey since joining the club, and the situation points to a chronic back problem.

He would be a hard pass if I was a GM unless I was really working around the margins of a team and picked him up for a late rounder.... But I guess maybe theres a small chance that a sucker exists out there.
