Jets are playing this one the right way IMO - shots are 14 to 9 and the Jets are playing without 2 top plauers.
Doing a pretty good job of shutting down one of the best teams in this league - no complaints unless you think the Jets are going to dictate the game on the road, under these circumstances.
Fair point.

My only point of reference is the last game we played against the Bruins. It was a whole team effort that night. Not just 55 or Home ice.

Not convinced an absent 55 and Bruins Home Ice advantage are the only independent variables at play tonight either. Seems to be more gap, endurance, coverage assignments and systems.

Line changes may be factoring in (with Away Ice), but I think a lot of it has to do with environmental conditioning having played mediocre teams lately.

I can’t believe that every player on the jets is playing slow because 55 isn’t playing.

Good keep on doing that!
Probably something to do with trying to play a defensive game all night - they're worn out.
Tough spot to be in but I don't know what else they can do.
I'm OK with the game plan - I don't think they had a lot of options.

Jets hanging in there which is all we can ask...

Feel like demelo is knicked - something is up

Dillon really is a solid D in bowness system

I expect line juggling by the 10 min mark of the third... let's just hope bones moves perfetti to 1c and not toninato

Either ehlers ties it or we lose.

He should be. Bring that back to the dressing room.
Several pissed Jets at the end. That's what I like to see. They know that's not nearly good enough.

They've had a few less than stellar games in a row now. Sometimes when you have a much success as the Jets have had its easy to relax too much.

The break couldn't come at a better time. Get some practice, some bodies back, and hopefully this bug running through the team goes away. I wonder how that's affecting us?

This game is alot better than I thought it would be, take 2 of your better players out of the lineup on the road against a division leading team and you have a chance to tie it and maybe win. I'll take it.
Yup. Very lucky the Bruins missed some aaa chances too

It's not just 55 - we also miss 13 and have completely lost our top line's offense.
If they can keep this one low scoring and close, I'm happy win or lose - we're missing too much fire power to be much more than we are right now.
Bruins have a full roster tonight.
Hopefully 55 / 13 back soon - and while we wait, we continue to play to our strength and stay on the script - defense.

I think Chevy knows what this team can use in it's lineup, will he be able to find them by the deadline.

A depth defenseman and at least a middle 6 center I think. Ideally a higher end center but another center is needed.

Team has definitely not been playing good hockey the last week and a half.

You go through ups and downs but nothing is really working right now.
I'll take this game effort over the effort in our last win - no concerns from me.

Interesting - I see this as a real defensively sound game from them aside from a missed assignment it would be tied... with Lowry as our 1C...

PK looking a lot better but PP still is lost.

I don't see the harm in calling up lambert as 4C right now

But like...that makes everyone else braindead and useless? Team dynamics are weird.
Braindead and useless is quite the label.
They're missing vilardi tonight as well guys are playing out of their regular spots with new linemates. Chemistry and new roles/situations can take a bit of time to get used to. They're down 1 against a V good team it's not the end of the world.
