Coyle is far from any issue on this team. Guy works hard on puck retrieval and puck possession. He’s been one of the better players during playoffs.

He can help the team more as a 3C in my opinion.

It's a narrative to add drama. Similar to showing replays of nearly every routine shot Florida takes. Bruins will have their fans. Must add interest and antagonists, drama for ratings with all the parity and dull product.

I don’t think Coyle is a very effective winger. Especially in his own zone. That line as currently constructed doesn’t work. Poitras is a better option than Lindholm right now. At least the kid tries . Bring up Poitras and Lysell .

Excellent at possession but needs a passer and scorer on his line otherwise it just runs the clock until the next shift.

OK, if this team were to face FLA in a 7 game playoff series I think we all know it would be ugly.

But yesterday’s game was entertaining, the boys showed grit, and we got some luck.

I thank them for the effort.

It was also a win that might just give them a little confidence and belief.

And that’s good, because I do believe in my heart that to have lost that game, either in OT or in shootouts, would have been a gut punch that I’m not sure they would have recovered from.

Bruins can't be happy with the way they played yesterday even though they won. Holy shit did they look out-classed. Just total domination on every end if the ice. Cant pass, cant get out of their own zone, can't sustain pressure, can't stick handle, can't skare fast. There is no structure to this team. Florida knows what they're supposed to be doing at all times. Multiple times the Bruins were getting missed up I'm coverage and just leaving pucks. Absolutely infuriating. If you're going to stack the roster with mediocre talent, you better be playing flawless and smart hockey, which they aren't.

The Icing rule is antiquated to begin with, today’s players are no longer the slowpokes of yesteryear. Besides that, goalies are more than capable of playing to puck…stop slowing the game down needlessly!

Also, while I’m on my soap box, get rid of the stupid trapezoid…there is no need for it in today’s game. If a goalie wants to venture out there, let‘em do it.
