No, he's not.

He's not even close to worth it. If he was paid $3M, maybe. He's inconsistent and even with the PK addition this year's his hockey sense is far below average.

His whole line is overpaid by about 75%, lol.

He's found a role and has played it very well this year. A player with his profile will always get a significant premium. If the team makes the playoffs, he'll make his worth felt like he does everytime.
