Is Morgan Barron that much worse. I don’t get why this AHL player is in the lineup. At least Gettinger or Barron might have a future here. Both are under 24.

Barron had a horrendous game yesterday.
Sitting him is the proper move. I don't know that Brodzinski is the body I would have inserted into the lineup but thats another story.

Terrible penalty at a terrible time but PK was terrific. Kreider and the overpaid Goodrow good as usual
Honestly, if Jones forces his way in the lineup over Nemeth/Hajek with his play that's a significant silver lining. Kid looks amazing.

He wasn't even mentioned let alone shown... or did i miss it? And isn't he employed by another team?

I had several games taken out of my account and then received an offer to enter a raffle for the chance to buy them back. I got a credit for those games, but man, telling me I might have a chance to win the opportunity to purchase tickets I previously owned really annoyed me. It's all so tiresome
Having a defenseman who can push the pace and get the puck to the forwards in a position on the ice where they can get the puck and go instead of it being in their skates or just out of reach and having to alter their track or allow the opposing team to pressure them makes a world of difference. Jones isn't perfect and he's gonna make mistakes, and probably will struggle defensively at times but I really hope he stays in the lineup and gets a decent look.
