I know people thought I hated Hank but that was legit the most meaningful jersey retirement for me. I wasn't a fan in 94 (though I think I watched some games according to my dad) and Richter, Leetch, and Mess weren't the same players when I started watching in 2000.

Being the slightly less attractive brother of Henrik Lundqvist still isnt too bad He will also go down as one of the best players to ever play in the SHL, 4 Swedish Elite League wins, 3 world championship gold, 13 straight seasons as team captain. I think he'll be alright.

For a ceremony, I think it was rather shit, actually. Both Forsberg's and Lidström's retirement ceremonies were way better. It was below mediocre, which is a shame, but it is what it is. The retirement video was... really meh. And the drunken hicks destroyed alot of it.
