I'd play Jeff Skinner this game, they are really going to feel the Colorado altitude and they need someone fresh. Could even play Ryan this game as well.

This is a bonus win game if they can get it. Back to back against that team after a hard fought win is a tall task so I'm expecting an L but would be pleasantly thrilled with a W.

For clarity most of the adds are being blocked by my browser but not all the redirects. It started a month or so before the migration. I suspect the board knew of the problems and a lot of comments throughout hf by the massive ad spamming and redirects and the site basically looking like a virus to any virus software.

Also hfboards was taking twice as much bandwidth to have open as ANY other site online. I wonder if they wanted to fix up any of these issues with the migration but still going on.

Weird. I really don’t see any virus related pop ups or ads on here, mobile or website. You should run malwarebytes first, make sure your browsers/computer are clean. Then try again with an ad blocker on.

I see player safety continues to be a joke. The McD hit was like the Podz goal. From one angle it looked like Nurse touched it. From another you see he didn't.

The Sportsnet it looked like he missed. However, the TNT replay you see 2 things. McDavid definitely lifted his elbow slightly.
MJs head did also slightly turn from the chin music before he flopped. He also didn't return.

Should be a game by the "standards"...if we can call it that anymore.

I absolutely love Ovechkin but some of his flying body checks were crazy. No suspensions either

That angle makes it look like it, but it also looks like the jersey flares out at contact so it may even have been the contact itself that moves his elbow (or maybe even just the jersey itself as it returns to the previous position almost immediately after) and it creates an illusion that he extended the elbow.

Also McDavid doesn't really change his path whatsoever and the elbow stay in the middle of the chest areas whereas Johanneson completely changes direction before contact and his stances has his head at a really low level. I just can't look at this and think there was any intent at all to catch him in the head.

Either way, hopefully he has a quick recovery as he is indeed hurt and will miss time from the incident.

Have to think the Avs are going to come out flying after the 4-1 drubbing we laid on them and their renewed spirits after the acquisition of Blackwood. Were also probably going to be fatigued after a competitive game against the Wild last night. Stu stonewalled MacK the last time out, were going to need another huge performance by him to even up tonight's energy level matchup.

I rewatched the game highlights and with about 5 seconds left, he has the puck on his stick with only one Wild player back and an EN. Rather than take a shot at the EN, he circles back in his own zone and kills the rest of the clock. Zero killer instinct.

I'm not getting any popups. When I click on something here. Sometimes another thread or try to click on last page of a thread the site will redirect to some bogus link. No adds or popups. I don't get the redirects on any other site. Heavily suggesting the problem is on hf end and several other users on other boards here have talked about it.

That to me heavily suggests a malware of some kind. Cause I've never seen sneaky links added to clicks on this site... but if you've ran a scan I'm stumped. Hmm.

Yes it is and maybe its just my color blindness, but the red user names are hard to read on desktop and pretty much impossible on mobile.

Not just you. I'm using dark mode, and in order to make out most usernames I have to highlight them. They really need to adjust the coloring.

With all the injuries they are dealing with right now, this is a terrible take. I 100% agree the reaction in game looked at minimum over dramatic, but teams don't fake injuries to make a point, especially once a decision has already been made not to fine or suspend for it.

I can see this, but not intentionally either. He certainly chaged his "line" much more the McDavid did in the half second before collision. All in all I think it was an unfortunate collision with the most unfortuante part being where it connected because an injury occured on the play.
